Is running with a dog allowed ?

No.

How do I add an option to my registration?

To add an option to your registration (medal, shuttle, t-shirt, etc.), you must follow this LINK and bring your registration reference and your email address.

If your bank refuses the addition, you will have to add it on Saturday April 3, 2027 at Namur Expo.

Are there showers on site ?

Yes, there are changing rooms and showers at the Tabora sports center (arrival site), around 100 showers.

Can I transfer my registration to another distance or runner ?

Bib transfers are permitted for a fee between January 1, 2027, and March 25, 2027 (inclusive), via the registration platform.

From March 26 onwards, any transfer request submitted via the registration platform serves as an official confirmation document. This document allows the transfer to be validated on Saturday, April 3, 2027, ONLY, even if the original holder is not present. Final processing of the transfer will take place exclusively on-site on April 3, 2027, in the presence of the new holder (with or without the original holder).

Bib transfer fees are as follows:

  • €20.00 for the Baloise Namur Marathon
  • €15.00 for the Baloise Namur Half-Marathon
  • €8.00 for the 10K Kick Cancer

CANCELLATION

If the participant has not purchased cancellation insurance:

  • They may or may not propose a new holder (providing the new holder's name and email address). The new holder pays the registration fee at the original price, and the original holder is refunded their registration fee minus the transfer fees specified in section 9.1—provided the spot is successfully taken over;
  • If no new holder is proposed, the spot is taken by someone on the waiting list; the original holder receives a partial refund of their registration fee minus the fees specified in section 9.1—provided the spot is successfully taken over;

If the participant has purchased cancellation insurance: see section 16.1 of the regulations.

Are there toilets at departures ? and about the supplies ?

Yes, there are sufficient toilets at each departure and at each supply.

Are there SAS at departures ?

Yes.

Marathon:

Is running with headphones allowed ?

For safety reasons, it is strongly advised against running with these earphones.

Is there a bag drop space ?

Organized and easily accessible drop bag spaces are provided at the start of each race. Your bags must be numbered with the detachable bracelet on your bib. The lockers will be organized and numbered using semi-trailers for storage.

Your bag can be collected after arrival at Namur Expo.

Shuttles: organisation and timetable

GETTING TO THE START POINTS BY SHUTTLE

The Baloise Namur Marathon is a point-to-point race.

For each race, shuttles are organised to take you to the start line. Car parks will also be available at the start points of the Baloise Namur Half Marathon and the 10K Kick Cancer. For the Baloise Namur Marathon, parking will not be permitted, but we have enough shuttles to take you to the start, with the necessary facilities on site.

Marathon: timetable

  • Departure point: Salzinnes, temporary LETEC stop on Avenue du Cardinal Mercier
  • Arrival point: Wépion, rue des Pruniers via Chemin du Grand Ry
  • Duration: between 25 and 30 minutes
  • Times (to be chosen when registering):
    • 7.40 a.m.
    • 8.30 a.m.

Half Marathon: timetable

  • Departure point: Namur SNCB station (railway station)
  • Arrival point: Lustin SNCB station (railway station)
  • Duration: between 25 and 30 minutes
  • Times (to be chosen when registering)
    • Tortoise Train: the time furthest from the start time
    • Hare Train: the time closest to the start time

Train times will be communicated in February 2027.

10K Kick Cancer

  • Departure point: Salzinnes, temporary LETEC stop on Avenue du Cardinal Mercier
  • Arrival point: La Plante, LETEC stop "Rue J. Hamoir"
  • Duration: between 15 and 20 minutes
  • Times (to be chosen when registering):
    • 7.40 a.m.
    • 8.10 a.m.

Are the half-marathon and marathon routes homologated ?

Yes. Both courses were measured by the official bodies of the Belgian Francophone League.

The 10k isn’t measured officially. 

Can I receive my bib by post ?

Yes.

Mailing is a paid option that can be selected during registration.

This choice is final and binding for all registrations made by Tuesday, February 23, 2027.

Your bib will be mailed during March 2027, following the initial print run.

Are there any pacers?

Can someone other than me collect my bib ?

Yes, upon presentation of a copy of the identity card or the bib allocation email.

When and where can I collect my bib ?

Race bibs can be collected upon presentation of your registration confirmation (sent via email prior to the event) and/or a valid official ID.

You may collect your bib from the Trakks store of your choice starting Wednesday, March 10, 2027, provided your registration was confirmed by 11:59 PM on Tuesday, February 23, 2027. Bibs can be collected from Trakks stores in Gosselies, Etterbeek, Rocourt, Uccle, and Waterloo until Thursday, April 1, 2027, and from the Trakks store in Jambes until Friday, April 2, 2027.

The choice of store is final at the time of registration and cannot be changed.

After 11:59 PM on February 23, 2027, the bib must be collected on-site at Namur-Expo on April 3 and 4, 2027. It will be personalized for any participant registered by 11:59 PM on March 28, 2027.

Are places limited for the marathon, half-marathon and 10K?

Yes, we will welcome a maximum of 14.500 runners. Please see the regulation for details.
